Historic Day #2

As of today, I have now lived as many years as Baskin Robbins used to have ice cream flavors, until everyone realized, hey that's not very impressive, and anyway we'd rather go to Cold Stone because you get to pay more to have your ice cream mushed up on a really cold stone. Anyway, I was trying to think of something really clever to post, like 31 reasons that I am awesome!, but I can only think of 1 reason why I want to take a 15 year vacation, and her name is Mia. Privately, just between you and me, that kid is so jacked up from the time change and the Halloween candy (but probably not from my parenting), she is throwing tantrums that even a racist republican would be impressed with right now (OK, you know I don't think all republicans are racist right?). But publicly, I totally love my kids and can't think of anything better to do on my birthday than just being with those precious little angels and listening to them scream. Luckily for me though, Baskin Robbins needs to give people a reason to go there, and therefore sent me a coupon for a free Birthday scoop, and later today I'm going to use my little coupon and I'm going to enjoy that ice cream ALONE. Ahhhhh, I'm starting to feel better already. And happy birthday to anyone and everyone else already born or being born today.

Happy Birthday, Donna! I still remember your 9th birthday because your mom made some killer popcorn balls and brought them to our third grade class. I also remember another birthday that included a slumber party and us making you sniff dog food from the can in your fridge as part of a truth-or-dare game. Crazy how far we go back. Hope your 31st is everything you hoped and dreamed it would be.

Happy Birthday, Donna! I think 24 hours ALONE will be my birthday wish for at least the next 20 years. There's something rejuvenating for the soul about peace and quiet. You throw in a little ice cream and you're crossing the border into something special there (watch your back for racist republicans, though).

Hope you enjoy your day!

Well, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, little lady! Hope your day is stinkin' FABULOUS and that you savor every mouthful of your solitary ice cream. Cuz then it's back in the trenches... :)

Hmmmm, I wish I had a coupon as an excuse to get out of my house too. Zach is my tantrum thrower right now. I would also like to blame it on daylight savings and sugar, but the sugar is gone now and the tantrums continue. I need a vacation...even if its just to baskin robbins and back :)

Happy Birthday! Eat a scoop for me!

Happy Birthday Donna! An hour alone would be pure bliss! And I am always all for ice cream. Here's to not making our dreams to big...that way we can acheive them right :) My kids are driving me NUTS right now, particularly my eldest daughter. Wow can I empathize.
Oh, and amen to historic day #1 post.

Happy Birthday! I'm not going to lie and tell you a card is on its way because it is not yet but it will be! Ahh, to be 31 again. For some reason, early 30's sounds much better than mid-30's. But as they say, the 30's are the new 20's. I bet if we give it a few years, the 30's will be the new adolescence.

Donna I know that this is late, but I hope that you had a great birthday. I hope that you were able to get out and enjoy some time alone, sometimes that is the best thing for a stressed out mom.
